We were so lucky

We were so lucky to have booked a private tour of Monte Alban and Oaxaca area artisan villages with Gabriel! He picked us up promptly at 9am from our Oaxaca airbnb in his comfortable car and immediately I knew we were in good hands. Gabriel speaks fluent English. He obtained his history degree from a university in Texas, and was also trained to be an Oaxaca area tour guide by National Geographic. He also speaks French, Spanish and Zapoteco. His passion for history and for explaining the sites you choose to visit was well evident. He was intelligent and friendly and he knows Oaxaca inside out. We had a fantastic tour with Gabriel. Highly recommendable!
